Micah & Becky – Husband & Wife

Becky and Micah joined hearts and lives after four years together, this past Sunday.  It was an honor to photograph such a special day for two caring, appreciative people and their close-knit families.    A quick thank you to my second shooter, the lovely Erin, I couldn’t have done it without you.

Enjoy.

Becky + Micah –  June 24 2012

Is Becky the perfect girl for Micah, or what?  I asked to photograph her shoes for the day, and she gave me these:

I know Becky’s not the only girl to feel what this smile says.  When you put on THE dress, if feels so good.  Finally, your wedding day is here!

Erin’s view- a crowd of admirers:

One of my favorites- such love in that gaze.  Weddings are a big day for parents too!!

Mrs. Schroeder (the first) and Mrs. Hering, just before the ceremony.

“I,Micah Richard Schroeder…”

There goes the bride (and Mom, a bridesmaid)!

Making it official:

Micah and his mother.

The Hering sisters:  What better support group can a girl want?  You three are so sweet and beautiful here.

GORGEOUS flowers, Becky-  If I didn’t have to get to some shots of the reception, I’d post ten more of just the white orchids that starred in this bouquet.  *Sigh*  (Are you noticing this:  navy dresses, and pocket squares, yellow flowers… yes, Brewer fans, you’re right.)

The Hering boys show some muscle.

Wow.  Romantic.  Have one of these a few times a week and you guys will be just fine.

Becky, you are effortlessly elegant here.

Becky and Micah packed a lot of baseball details and a few surprises into their planning during a short engagement.  The biggest surprise was, well, literally the biggest part of their reception.  🙂 God bless you in your life together, Mr. and Mrs. Schroeder.  You both seemed so relaxed in the hours before you met down the aisle- no doubts, no fears.  You knew exactly what you were walking into.  And Micah especially (completely dressed and ready: coat, flower, shoes on, an hour before the service!) couldn’t wait to get the show on the road.

Teeny piece of cake to share!  Oh well, who practices team cake cutting, anyway?  You just go for it!

Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack…

BREW CREW!

Some special guests:  🙂

Bernie Brewer caught the garter on his mustache. I don’t think they could do this again, if they tried!

Micah & Becky, thank you for the privilege of being part of your wedding day.  Congratulations!
