Melissa & Jesse – Downtown Milwaukee Wedding Photography

Not much time to write tonight (baby duty calls!) but I wanted to get this post of Melissa and Jesse’s big day shared sooner than later!  What a lovely, relaxed day of faith and family… and bicycles!  Jesse coaxed Melissa all the way over to South Dakota while they were dating, and she decided to stay forever.  Their wedding was actually at my home church, a historic building downtown, Milwaukee.  The reception, next door at the Grace Place.  Pictures in-between at one of my favorite lake parks.  Melissa and Jesse, your journey to each other, and the wait that came with it, was worth it!  It’s easy to smile at the contentment you find in each other, looking through these images.  Now, let’s get this show on the road! 🙂  Enjoy:

Melissa & Jesse – July 2014

Surprise!  The beautiful bride scored high for best wedding gift, surprising Jesse with a special tandem bike.  This one took some planning, since a bike’s not the easiest gift to pop in your suitcase!  So sweet:

Melissa’s talented sister Jessie arranged these bouquets, and I absolutely love the blooms she chose.  Gorgeous color palette!

(above)  In honor of all the miles the B&G spent flying to see each other, guests had to throw a paper airplanes through a hoop if they wanted the couple to kiss.  The kids especially got into this.  🙂

Leave the happy couple some love in the comments!  If they receive 10 comments, they’ll receive a free 8×10 print of their favorite blog post image.  Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs!
