My friend Naomi brought me a meal just after Isabel come home from the NICU, and it was then I learned I’d have a chance to return the favor sooner than later! After months of keeping the gender a surprise (how do people do that!?), they welcomed a sweet baby girl to the family last week. I remember John holding the tiny daughter of friends of ours, years ago at a New Year’s Eve party, saying ‘Hon, let’s get one of these.’ Naomi rolls her eyes, like ‘getting’ a baby girl is as simple as picking her up from Target. It was sweet to see Isla already has Dad wrapped around her finger. 🙂 Congratulations to you both, and the proud big brother– she’s just perfect. God bless your family of four!
