On a cold, cloudy day in northern Wisconsin a librarian married her own Mr. Darcy– a beautiful day of human connection, family and friends, another happy ending!<\/p>\n

Kate, you were classic elegance in lace and vintage fur. \u00a0It was an honor from start to finish working with you and Luke! \u00a0Thank you both for implicitly trusting my ability to document, smiling in the frigid wind (it was relentless!), and for planning such an authentic, personalized event. \u00a0Congratulations!<\/p>\n

The bride took my recommendation of portraits at a place with open space, on the way to the reception. \u00a0I loved her idea of using her aunt’s farm, LOTS of space (we almost missed it!) in those Wisconsin fields, and Kate’s comment that she’ll always remember that part of the day, when she and Luke visit. \u00a0We might have had a windchill to work around, but the trade off was this gorgeous, moody blue sky. \u00a0I’ll take it. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Cocktail hour was en route to the reception and a perfect place to thaw out after portraits. \u00a0I’ve never been so happy that the bride and groom’s mothers insist I stop shooting to have a hot cup of coffee. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
