Last week, Katy and Lucia were brave enough to experiment with our new gigantic posing bag, called a newborn nest– which sounds sweet and cozy but is BIIIG and, thankfully, now stored at the new studio instead of my livingroom! \u00a0It’s awesome for getting the tummy shots where babies this age are thinking about crawling, and for making little burrows for brand newbies to feel cuddled\/secure during a shoot.<\/p>\n

Lucia was all smiles for her session… as long as mom was close by. \u00a0Katy did more work to win these smiles than I did. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42 \u00a0Thanks Katy, for the coffee and your willingness to ‘roll with’ my idea of some group photos on the bed. \u00a0There’s so much love in these everyday shots! \u00a0Priceless days of little grins that go by so fast. \u00a0Definitely my favorites from the day. \u00a0Enjoy!<\/p>\n

Someone’s big brother woke up from nap toward the end of this session. \u00a0I’m so glad he did, and that I got to document this “I just woke up hair”. \u00a0I LOVE the light in this bedroom– brides, take note. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42 \u00a0This is why we want you to pleeeeeease get ready in a room with windows. \u00a0You just can’t fake this soft white light.<\/p>\n
