Laura and Brian showed me a few of their favorite spots in Madison last week. \u00a0Though I’ve been there a few times (for the awesome farmer’s market at Capitol square and a costume shop that transformed me into Sherlock Holmes… long story) I hadn’t yet walked the streets with a photographer’s eyes. \u00a0What a cool city! \u00a0The light, the buildings, the lake near Laura’s observatory office. \u00a0A college town where these two met and will be married next June.<\/p>\n

We started at the Capitol to ‘get it out of our system before the wedding day’ Brian said. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42 \u00a0He proposed on the steps there, not so long ago! \u00a0It was beautiful through the trees– no wonder it’s a wedding party hot spot on Saturdays. \u00a0On a Thursday though, I was psyched we had the place pretty much to ourselves. \u00a0Laura broke out a pair of red heels for the occasion and her smile was SO. GREAT. \u00a0A ‘yup-I-LOVE-him’ smile. \u00a0It’s all in the eyes, and she made a believer out of me in the first frames:<\/p>\n

Next we headed off to the lake near Union Terrace for a gorgeous sunset. \u00a0What a perfect night! \u00a0Laura and Brian, your genuine happiness in each other is a obvious (super sweet!) and a gift. \u00a0I can’t wait to capture your wedding next summer!<\/p>\n
