Along the lakefront now the trees are almost bare. \u00a0The days are super short and the wind today made me glad we squeezed one last engagement shoot in before fall split for good! \u00a0Matt and Elise met \u00a0me on the lake, when a few leaves were still hanging around. \u00a0A red sweater blanket was the perfect November touch but Elise’s blue eyes stole the show!<\/p>\n

Matt is at seminary here, studying to be a pastor, and Elise teaches history in Minnesota. \u00a0They met in college and over years and miles, forged a friendship that ended with a beginning: \u00a0Matt planned a thoughtful, romantic proposal of letters and wine\u2026 and she said “yes!” \u00a0After hiking around on the beach for an hour, we warmed up with coffee at \u00a0Fiddleheads in Mequon. \u00a0Matt & Elise, I can already tell your June wedding will be not only beautiful but FULL of meaningful photos. \u00a0Can’t wait to capture more of your love and the way Matt’s quirks make his sweet bride-to-be smile. \u00a0Thanks for a great session– ENJOY.<\/p>\n
