When Alishia contacted me to create a portrait for her dad’s lake home, I was thrilled. Photos make meaningful gifts for retirement or any occasion- gifts that last- and Lake Michigan is the biggest reason I live where I do. What prettier place in Milwaukee to take photos? Especially when the weather couldn’t have been better. I wished we’d brought a picnic for after the shoot!
Two little munchkins (you’ll see them) decided picture time was the perfect time to goof off, after all, Mom and Dad have to be smiling at the camera– what are they going to do about tongues sticking out? BUUUUUT we managed to catch some normal smiles, and heads are moveable (thank you photoshop!), this we know. 🙂 I wonder what I’d have been like at a photo session, at age seven… Probably distracted by all the exploring to be done by the water.
Alishia, thank you for trusting me with freezing your family for your parents to enjoy, when you’re far apart. Your family is so full of fun and good humor- the shots of you laughing with your sister…. Love them! Priceless! I need some of these with MY sis and her crazy laugh. 🙂
