When I met Jansen, the first thought was, “Yeah, I’m going to need my stool for this one.” The ledges and railings I asked him to lean on during his shoot were fine for me, but too short for Jansen. Some problem! 🙂 Jansen is a rep from Wisconsin Lutheran High School (WISCO) where he’s involved in sports year round– track, football, basketball. If you have long legs, use them, right?
Through out his session, Jansen seemed completely comfortable in his own skin. This makes for awesome reps, and is easier said than done. Being comfortable with yourself will serve you well, LONG after your senior photo session.
Jansen carries himself with an easy likable air and didn’t flinch at any of my oddball ideas for photo settings. 🙂 We opted to complete his session at the WISCO gym. Who knows how many days/weeks/months he’s spent on that floor? Definitely an important part of this time in his life- I’m happy to travel to capture genuine portraits that tell the story of YOU as a senior. Thanks again, Jansen- see what I mean with the ‘nice serious’ face? You’ve got it down! Enjoy your sneak peek.
This is one of my favs: genuine smiles get me every time!
