Repeat clients are so fun for photographers who think they know a family just because we stared at the curves of their faces for a long time: editing, re-editing, cropping to draw your eye to a smile, little shoes, chubby fingers. Fun to see how they’ve grown, gotten teeth, gotten hair, learned to run. Yikes, I sound like a grandma…
The James family started out with a one-year shoot for Miss Kate, had two-year shots, a mini-session with the cousins (and Henry- 6 months), and now their son is one! Time flies; he’s already a man on the move! I think these bright cardigans are so cute for spring (good choice, Mom). And it finally felt like spring for our shoot. This reschedule went so much better than our freezing cold attempt last month- thanks, Alan and Michelle, for your flexibility and for introducing me to downtown Racine. I’m sure there are some exhausting days with little ones close in age, but what wouldn’t you do for these toothy grins? They’re worth remembering– ENJOY.
