Jeff & Erin – Husband & Wife, Documentary Wedding Photography

Erin and I first met on Luther Prep’s cross country team.  We might not have been star runners but we gave it all we had and doubled back to cheer on our younger teammates as they finished the course.  These days she’s busy teaching just outside of DC, and being Jeff Chesak’s biggest fan.  Their love was obviously meant to be- common faith the thread that drew a Florida man and a Wisconsin girl together on the east coast.  And he makes her laugh.  🙂

What a fun wedding, full of DIY details!  Jeff’s mom worked behind the scenes on of a lot of things.  Even long distance didn’t keep her from contributing to a beautiful day (check out those cakes– all Mom!).  From caramel apples to s’mores and personalized quilt squares, this was a thoroughly fall wedding.  We didn’t want to leave!

Erin you were absolutely beautiful. I loved documenting your happiness, your Prep besties, your excitement to start a new life as the wife of a Christian man with a servant’s heart.  Hope your students are getting the hang of ‘Mrs. Chesak’ by now, and that you guys are loving every minute finally living on the same side of the city!  God bless, & ENJOY.
