By the time you read this I’ll be on a rainy camping trip that I’ve still yet to pack for (!), and seeing as how I ought to have included less photos in this post anyway, I’ll keep this text short. Julie and Steve were meant to be together. Two doctors with hearts for service trusted their families with the planning of an elegant wedding at the Pritzlaff in Downtown Milwaukee. This event was a labor of love for Julie’s mom but the beautiful, gracious, beaming bride herself was the real credit to a mother’s love and care over the years. It’s easy to see why Steve couldn’t get enough of his bride and seized every opportunity to make her laugh.
Julie had considered getting married in the backyard of the home where she grew up so we arranged a first look in the garden there. The couple decided to include their parents on the ‘reveal’ which was a sweet touch; unexpectedly both DADS couldn’t help tearing up. 🙂 After giving the family dogs some love, we settled into the rest of the day at a historic venue filled with one magician of a wedding planner’s artistry/attention to detail. Julie holds her faith close to her heart and this traditional Jewish ceremony was one of my favorite parts of the day (and the hora, because, seriously SO FUN). Julie & Steve it was an honor to capture your killer moves on the dance floor &, your pure joy in each other and your guests on such a special day. Have the best time exploring a new city together as you begin your married life in California! Send a little sun to central Wisconsin this weekend, we’ll need it. 🙂 Congratulations!
