Every time Kate contacts me to capture her family I get super excited. She just gets my style, lets her hair down at her lifestyle sessions and lets me do my thing! And the men in her life, all three of them, are pretty great too. Odin turned one this summer and our shoot fell on his actual birthday. Ansel’s one-year shoot was probably all of 10 degrees, so it was a nice change to capture summer: the boys in the garden, some pool time, a green backyard and swimsuits (…and birthday suits!). Happy birthday to this inquisitive, sweet, adventurous, drooly, smiley little guy!
Kate suggested the pool over photographing Odin the the tub, which turned out to be a great idea. What kid doesn’t love being in charge of the hose, and Odin was all about splashing!
