Jason & Heather – Husband & Wife, Milwaukee Wedding Photographer

Sometimes, even after dozens of weddings, wedding photographers wake up with butterflies in their stomachs.  This past Friday was one of those days.  A last minute change in the timeline and not shooting a wedding for over a month (my packed summer might have something to do with this icy white stuff) made me as nervous to start the day as I was excited.  But at Lux in Shorewood, just a block from my studio, Heather and the girls were friendly, calm and already finished with hair.  We were back on track and headed to the church!

What a wife you have, Jason, who offered ME coffee and asked how I was doing/feeling on the morning of HER wedding day.  That’s just who she is.  I felt instantly at ease and excited to roll with the day no matter the timeline, capturing what’s really important- the love Jason and Heather vowed to each other in front of God and those who love them the most.

Heather and Jason thank you for letting me be a part of your special day; it was truly an honor.  And a ton of fun!  ENJOY.

A big shout out to my friend Lindsay Carr from Carr Studios (www.carrphotostudios.com) for second shooting for me.  I couldn’t have been two places at once without you! 🙂  Thanks for your help and company.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails.

 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

This was just a marvelous day…

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs!!  Leave ’em some love in the comments.
