Katie & Matt – Appleton WI, Engagement Photography

The stars aligned for Matt and Katie’s engagement shoot over Easter break.  Matt is a busy first-year principal in Michigan and Katie is finishing up school in Minnesota.  She has a countdown to graduation and wedding- I don’t blame her!  They happened to be in WI spending the holiday together and were up for a road trip!  I took a few hours away from my family, complete with my green Easter egg dyed fingers (we’re talking the Incredible Hulk green here) and met them at beautiful Lawrence University.  The afternoon was dreary but we got some great shots before it started to pour.  A cup of coffee from Copperock Coffee definitely hit the spot as we wrapped up.

Katie picked the perfect coat to add some color to a the grey blegh that is a slow Wisconsin spring.  Matt, thumbs up on the skinny black tie…  Love looks good on you two!  I can’t wait to see you again this summer on a WHOLE DAY full you contagious ear-to-ear smiles.  ENJOY.
