Whitney & Kyle – Downtown Milwaukee Wedding Photography

What do a cathedral, Milwaukee’s Third Ward and the Pritzlaff building have in common?  History.  And Whitney and Kyle’s downtown wedding!  With Valentine’s Day on the way, I’m excited to share some more weddings this week on the blog.  After all, what says love better than white dresses and “I do”?

I had the honor of capturing this stylish event alongside my trusty second shooter, Emily, last fall.  The bride and groom might be fans of stylish city living but also like just hanging out and having a good time: their beautiful traditional ceremony and casual candlelit reception (with caramel apple favors- YES!) let guests experience a bit of each.

Though Kyle is on the quiet side, you can tell he’s excited to start a lifetime with Whitney as his wife.  It’s the way he looked at her during their vows, the way he makes her laugh, the way he seems at home with her in his arms.  Congratulations and  Happy (married!) Valentine’s Day to you both.  🙂

  1. Fabulous pictures, Sarah! It was a fantastic day, start to finish – thank you for capturing the beautiful ceremony in the Cathedral and the love and fun of the wedding reception. It was a picture perfect day for our daughter Whitney and new son-in-law Kyle!
