Sarah & David – Wisconsin State Park Engagement Photography

Sarah and David live in Milwaukee, but enjoy active time outside the city as much as they love downtown.  I love splitting time between country and city, myself, and it’d been too long since I’d been on a trail!  Rolling hills and indian mounds met green farmland, along scruffy oak-lined roads to the park.  I’m not sure if it was the natural beauty, David’s way of cracking up his lovely bride-to-be, or the workout we got running from bugs and chasing sunset, but this session was a blast.

Scuppernong is one of the couple’s favorite day hikes and Sarah planned a few stops along their regular route (Dave was kind enough to narrate/improv from the park brochure…).  Their September wedding will blend rustic and chic just like their e-session did– check back for part one in Third Ward.  With two people this at home with each other, I know their wedding will be even more beautiful than this summer night.  Scuppernong, I’ll be back!  Enjoy:
