Two years ago my friends welcomed a teeny tiny preemie and every prayer was answered as he grew into the cutest, spunkiest little boy.  Oscar is definitely a man on the move and after coffee on the porch (because of COURSE), we captured his favorite activities/toys at this age.  Can Snaps and a Kitchen Aid be toys??  🙂 Ben & Renee, your every-day-happy kept me smiling behind the camera all morning long.  Thank you for letting me chase the smallest grocery cart around your neighborhood, documenting those dimples and the love you three share.

Renee Pappalardo - These are amazing – thank you so much for spending the morning with us!ReplyCancel

Daphne was meant to be a Fresh Frame client from her very first email.  She was beyond excited to start a life with Ethan and reading her message about how they met & fell in love, I couldn’t help feeling honored to be part of their big day.  True love is always worth the wait, but once you do find it– why wait around!?  Daphne & Ethan decided to move up their wedding and surprise guests of their elegant outdoor engagement party with the news that they were MARRIED that morning!  Yeah, that was just a fun as it sounds.  🙂 E&D I couldn’t be happier for you two.  The smiles you gave each other were the best, warmest things I photographed all day– which is just as it should be.  Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs!

Next to Ethan, the Darrow kiddos (and their parents) have the biggest slice of Daphne’s heart.  Maybe they like her back just a little?  🙂

An “I Do BBQ” hosted by the Darrow’s was the perfect way to share the happy news with unsuspecting family and friends, who hadn’t attended the AM ceremony.  Even Wisconsin pulled out all the stops to celebrate the couple, with perfect weather and pretty summer light.  🙂

Every time Kate contacts me to capture her family I get super excited.  She just gets my style, lets her hair down at her lifestyle sessions and lets me do my thing!  And the men in her life, all three of them, are pretty great too.  Odin turned one this summer and our shoot fell on his actual birthday.  Ansel’s one-year shoot was probably all of 10 degrees, so it was a nice change to capture summer:  the boys in the garden, some pool time, a green backyard and swimsuits (…and birthday suits!).  Happy birthday to this inquisitive, sweet, adventurous, drooly, smiley little guy!

Kate suggested the pool over photographing Odin the the tub, which turned out to be a great idea.  What kid doesn’t love being in charge of the hose, and Odin was all about splashing!

Loving the fresh peas, and those mosquito bites.  Can it be summer forever?!

A couple weeks ago, Beth and Timothy trekked to the States from China to be married surrounded by their closest family and friends.  Well, BETH’s closest family and friends anyway…  They’ll be hosting another wedding in China this weekend!  Beth wanted to share some photos from her special day in Wisconsin at her Chinese wedding– thus this blog post was born.  🙂  This post is a little portrait heavy since it serves as a visual way for Beth to ‘introduce’ her Wisconsin fam to her new Chinese family!  Beth, it was awesome to watch you just as giggle-prone and spunky as I remember you most days of college, and grinning ear to ear, but this time at your new husband.  Blessings as you join your lives in Wuhan!
